Back into the swing of things for the New Year with my first Coffee and Crafts day held at Vintage Graffiti HQ and my very first blog post today! What a great start.
Every Wednesday, I have a lovely group of ladies over to share some gossip, some chocolate and do our most favourite thing in the world… Create!
We created this with the gorgeous new stamp set Butterfly Basics and matching Framelits from our amazing Occasions Catalogue. I love how the vellum butterfly is beautifully soft and understated and doesn’t detract from the rest of the card but still give a pop of WOW and elegance.
The Typeset Designer Series Paper is quickly becoming one of my favourites. With its ultra-light feel, it looks like it just came straight from a vintage book! It sets the scene perfectly for that vintage style look. Which of course, suits me to a ‘T’! You’ll find that is one of my go-to card base colours. It seems to naturally go with any colour combination.
To get the two-toned look of the flower, we coloured the stamp with Wild Wasabi and Wisteria Wonder Stampin’ Write markers. These aren’t colours I grab very often but when I do use them, I am always impressed!
All items are from Stampin Up! and can be ordered through my Australian store here.
