Wondrous Christmas In (Almost) July

Wow, 6 months of 2015 has passed already. Flown by. It only feels like yesterday when we were all doing the last minute mad dash to prepare ourselves for Christmas! But, are we ever prepared? I never feel like what I have done is enough or finalised until Christmas day has gone off without a glitch and everybody is happy. Am I the only one who feels like this?

Well, this week I was inspired by the amazing sketch created by Narelle over at the Just Add Ink Challenge Blog.

I was instantly drawn to this sketch. Especially the circle element. So, I looked up at my current stamps and waited to be inspired. Our Wondrous Wreath photopolymer two-step stamping stamp set jumped right out at me. Was it to early to start creating Christmas cards? Shall I try and use the set to create something ‘not Christmasy’?! Nahhhhh, lets go with the flow and see where it leads us…

And I must say, I love where my mojo took me! The neutral colour palette with a ‘pop’ of Cherry Cobbler and gold for fun and how fabulous do these colours all go together? I know what colour scheme I will be using on most of my Christmas cards this year!

With my creative juices were flowing, I just couldn’t stop. So, based on the existing card elements and what was still lying around on my desk, I also gave the inside of the card a little bit of flair, still leaving enough room to write a personal message. I also think that the way I have decorated the inside of the card would actually make a cute, quick and easy Christmas card on it’s own!

Also, just a small reminder that today is the last day to take advantage of the amazing joining offer Stampin’ Up! has running at the moment and to become part of my amazing team and get two extra FREE stamp sets in the process! How good is that?

Happy stamping,

I think I am going to keep with the natural theme for my Christmas cards this year Tina. I really loved how this one turned out. Thank you for your lovely comment and it was a pleasure to join in with the sketch challenge over at Just Add Ink this week ☺️
